The Campaign is wired up, the Secrets are drafted, and you have a group of people who want to play. They're not in the server yet, and you'd rather not write a long onboarding email. The good news: from the players' side, joining a Wyrdli Campaign is one Discord command.
You have a Campaign on a Discord server and you want to bring people in to play it.
Use your Discord server's normal invite link to bring the players into the server. If they don't have a Discord account yet, they'll make one as part of accepting the invite.
Make sure they can see the play text channel for the Campaign. The bot uses this channel for everything, so a player who can't read it can't play.
Tell them to run /character create in the play channel, followed by the name they want for their Character. The bot creates the sheet and ties it to their Discord identity.
On the web, open the Campaign and click into the PCs tab. The new Characters appear there as PCs you can reference from Scenes, relationships, and notes.
If you want a face on each PC, open a PC and attach an Artwork portrait.
Players don't need a web account to join. /character create is the whole onboarding flow from their side: Discord identity in, Character created, ready to play.
There isn't a parallel web-side path for inviting players. Character creation is intentionally Discord-only, because a Character is the player's record, and Discord is where they live. The web app shows you, the GM, the PCs the players have created, but the players never need to sign in there themselves.
Players keep editing the sheet from Discord: /character set name renames the Character, /character set avatar with an attached image sets their portrait, /character details shows the current sheet. They never touch the web for the basics. If a player wants the full editor (longer descriptions, mentions, formatting), they can sign in on the web and open their Character; see Create and edit a Character for the rest.
