How-to guides
Add players to your campaign
Invite your players into the Discord server, point them at the campaign, and watch their Characters appear on the web.
Create and edit a character
Build the Character sheet on Discord with a slash command, then expand the details on the web when you want more room to write.
Add an NPC
Create a Non-Player Character, give them a Goal, and put them somewhere the party will collide with them. Without a Goal, they're scenery.
Add a location
Create a Location, nest it under a parent if it sits inside another place, and attach a map when one would help at the table.
Add a faction
Create a Faction, attach the NPCs who belong to it, and give the group itself a Goal so the whole organisation can push on the party.
Link entities with relationships
Tie any two things in your Campaign together using the relationship section on a detail page: the brass key to the deputy's desk, the deputy to the sheriff's office, the sheriff's office to the cult investigation.
Define a secret
A Secret is a whole arc, not a single fact. Name the arc, write what's really going on across multiple Sessions, and the rest of the discovery network has something to point at.
Place clues and link them to secrets
Write a Clue as a single piece of evidence, drop it at the Locations where the party can find it, and connect it to the Secret it points toward.
Write a scene
Compose a Scene at a Location, give it a Tension (what an NPC wants there), and pick the Clues it activates when the party plays through it.
Plan on the scenario canvas
Use the Canvas to lay out one arc's discovery network: Locations as nodes, Clues as the lines between them, Scenes anchored to the places they happen.
Track threats and goals
Give NPCs and Factions Goals (what they're trying to do), derive Threats from those Goals (the harm they push toward the party), and pin Threats to Scenes so they surface at the table.
Run a session with the Play view
Open the Play view, queue the Scene the night opens on, surface Clues as the party finds them, and pull the next Scene off the canvas when its Clue lands.
Record a session and get a transcript
Start the recording from Discord, watch the stems and the transcript appear on the Session page while the bot processes the audio, and retry or clean up any stem that misbehaves.
Generate a session recap
Once the Transcript is in, click Generate Recap and step through the AI's narrative, events, and debrief. Every part of the recap is editable before it lands.
