You've joined a Campaign and the GM has waved you in. You need a Character: a name, a sheet, eventually a portrait and a few sentences about who they are. The fastest path is one Discord command. The fuller path waits on the web for when you have time.
You're a player who's just landed in a Wyrdli Campaign and you want a Character to play.
In the Campaign's play text channel, run /character create followed by the name you want. The bot creates the sheet, ties it to your Discord identity, and confirms in-channel.
Run /character details any time you want to see your current sheet: attributes, advancement points, strikes, the basics.
If you want to rename later, run /character set name with the new name.
For a portrait, run /character set avatar with an image attached to the message. The bot stores it as your Character's portrait.
When you earn advancement, run /character advance to spend one point on the attribute you choose.
You don't need a web account to play. Every command above runs in Discord, against the Character the bot already knows belongs to you.
The web editor is where you go when a Discord command isn't enough: long-form background, mentions of NPCs and Locations, formatting, a fuller description for your GM to riff on. Sign in on the web, open the Campaign, click into the PCs tab, then open your Character. The editor is the same one your GM uses for PC records, with the fields you have permission to edit.
The mechanical sheet (attributes, advancement, strikes) is still managed from Discord. The web is for the narrative half: who the Character is, what they're chasing, what they're afraid of, who they think they can trust.
You can also reach the Character editor by clicking your portrait on any Scene, relationship, or mention that shows your PC, then opening the editor from the resulting detail page. Same editor, different entry point.
