Plan on the scenario canvas

Use the Canvas to lay out one arc's discovery network: Locations as nodes, Clues as the lines between them, Scenes anchored to the places they happen.
You've written a Secret, three Clues, and four Scenes, and now you want to see if the arc actually has a path the party can follow. Reading it as a list won't tell you. You need to see the shape: which Locations connect to which, where the Clues run, whether the cannery is a dead end or an intersection.
That's what the Canvas is for.
You want to see one Secret's discovery network as a picture, you're laying out a new arc, or you're auditing an existing arc to find dead ends and single points of failure.
Open the Campaign and click "Canvas" in the sidebar.
At the top of the Canvas, use the Secret selector to pick the arc you're working on. Pick "all Secrets" if you want to see every arc the Campaign has open at once.
The Canvas paints Locations as nodes and Clues as the lines between them. Scenes appear anchored on the Locations they happen at.
Drag Locations to lay them out spatially. The Canvas remembers manual positions, so the layout you build here sticks.
Click any line (a Clue) to open the Clue editor in a side sheet; edit and save without leaving the Canvas. Click a Scene chip or a Location node to do the same for those.
Close the Canvas when you're done. Positions and edits are saved as you go.
The Canvas is the working surface for prep, not a read-only view. Most of the actions you'd do from individual editors are also wired up here.
Add a Scene to a Location. Every Location node has an "Add scene here" affordance; clicking it creates a placeholder Scene anchored at that Location and opens it for editing.
Create a new Location by right-click. Right-click an empty area of the canvas and choose "Create location". The new node lands where you clicked.
Draw a Clue between two Locations. Grab the "scene source" handle on a Scene chip and drag it to another Location node. Drop on the target Location and the Canvas creates a Clue from the Scene's anchor Location to the target, attaches the current Secret to its "leads to", and wires the Scene to activate it. One gesture, one Clue, fully wired.
Reuse an existing Location. If you drag a Clue line out into empty space (not onto a node), the Canvas opens a picker: create a new Location at the drop point, or reuse an existing Location from the Campaign. The "reuse" path is the one to take when the cannery already exists somewhere else on the Canvas and you want this Clue to lead back to it.
See dead ends. Locations with no Scene anchored to them light up as empty. Scenes that activate no Clues, and Clues with no activating Scene, are visible at a glance. If you can't find a Clue's path back to the Secret, this is the page where it becomes obvious.
A Canvas you can read tells you a lot about the arc:
One Clue with three sources is a robust point of entry; one Clue with one source is a single point of failure.
A Scene that activates no Clues is a Scene the discovery graph doesn't depend on. That can be fine (a colour Scene the party will enjoy regardless), or it can be a Scene you forgot to wire.
A Location with no Scenes is a place the party can reach but where nothing happens. Either give it a Scene or ask whether it earns its keep.
An arc that resolves through one node, with every line passing through it, is the kind of arc that breaks if the party never visits that node. Either give them two ways in, or accept the risk on purpose.
