An Event is a single entry in a Character's advancement log. Every time a player spends an advancement point on an attribute, one Event is written. Events are produced by the system, not authored by you. They're the record of how a Character grew over the life of the Campaign, Session by Session.
You don't edit Events directly. This reference exists so you know what shows up in the log and where it came from.
You don't, the system does. An Event is written when a player runs /character advance on Discord and picks an attribute to spend the point on. The advancement point comes from the per-Session payout: when the GM runs /gm session end, every Character in the Campaign receives one point.
If a player ends a Session with unspent points, those points stay on their sheet until they spend them. The Event is written at the moment of the spend, not at the moment of the payout.
Three places to read Events:
The Campaign's Events tab shows the full advancement log across every Character, ordered by Session. Useful for spotting who is and isn't advancing.
The Character detail page shows that one Character's log: every attribute they've raised, in what Session.
On Discord, a player runs /character history to read their own log.
The Session recap also includes the Events from that night, woven into the AI debrief.
